Willow swifts and swallows workshop

Spend a mellow day in a peaceful woodland setting weaving beautiful willow birds. Local willow artist Hazel Godfrey will teach you how to create simple swifts and swallows.  No experience in willow weaving is necessary, the course is suitable for all levels. You should be able to make two willow birds during the day. While you weave in the woods, there’ll be plenty of tea with homemade cake to enjoy. Your willow swifts or swallows will make a beautiful wall decoration to brighten your home through the autumn and winter while we wait for our migratory feathered friends to return in the spring. Cost £70 includes materials and refreshments.
