Shuttleworth in Lights Walk
Sunday 08th December 2024 14:30 - 20:30
Doors open: 2:30 pm
Join Stag Walkers, a Ramblers group aimed mainly at people in their 20s, 30s and a bit beyond, for a combined walk and social event setting off from Biggleswade station to visit the “Shuttleworth in Lights” event.
If you would like to attend, please make sure to book your tickets from the Shuttleworth website ASAP, for 8th December at 5:50pm.
We will start the walk by setting off in the afternoon from Biggleswade station and walk along the Ivel river towards Jordans Mill.
Shortly afterwards, we will pass through the village of Broom on our way to Warden Warren Wood enriched with tall pine trees. We will then find our way down towards the quaint village of Old Warden where we can enjoy the warmth of the Hare and Hounds pub as darkness descends.
Nearer to 6pm and very likely wearing our headtorches we will head to Shuttleworth where we will visit Shuttleworth in Lights, where the Shuttleworth collection and Swiss Garden will be illuminated in a wonderful display of big, bold, colour, showcasing the wonderful natural features of our landscape and heritage.
Afterwards, we will make our way back aided by our headtorches via Broom lakes and back into Biggleswade.
