Kings Arms Garden

The Kings Arms Garden is approx 1.5 acres of woodland garden just 7 minutes walk from Ampthill town centre.  It has been planted mainly for the spring  but has plenty of year round interest and has been given a Green Flag award for the last three years.  It is maintained by volunteers and is open on the volunteers working mornings, Monday and Thursday 10.00-12.00 (weather permitting) and also on the last Sunday of the month from January to October, usually 2.00-4.00.  There is no charge for admission but it opens twice a year for the National Garden Scheme  in February for the snowdrops and October for the autumn colour and there is an admission charge on these days and refreshments are on offer too.   There is also a membership scheme where members can access the garden whenever they wish for just £12 per year which runs from  January to December.  There is a Facebook page,  Kings Arms Garden Ampthill which is updated regularly with whatever is looking good on the day.
