Family Friendly Walk: Ouzel Valley Meander

Fancy getting out and exploring Greensand Country this half term? Join us for a half term walk along our Ouzel Valley Meander, a 5 mile circular route around Leighton Linslade on Wednesday 19^th February.

The guided walk will take in the scenery around Leighton Buzzard, from the towpath and sand quarries, through the Ouzel Meadows and Rushmere Country Park along waymarked paths.

Children are very welcome, but please make sure they can walk the distance as it is a circular walk. Activity packs will be available for children to do along the walk.

Please meet at the interpretation board in the car park at Rushmere Country Park to begin the walk at 10:30. (What3Words: prancing.haggis.unscrew)

Tickets: Adults £2 and children go free. Please note there are parking charges at Rushmere Country Park. See here for more details.

Please note:

• Tree Tops Café at Rushmere Country Park will be available for refreshments at the start/end of the route.
• Please wear suitable footwear and clothing.
• The walk passed through typical Greensand Country landscapes, hence public toilets will be few and far between.
• If the event cannot go ahead due to weather, or an insufficient number of tickets are sold, any purchased tickets will be refunded.
