Children’s Trail
Leighton Buzzard town centre is a great place for children as well as adults and one of the best ways for them to have fun is to take the Children’s Trail.
The Leighton – Linslade Children’s Trail is a public trail of 22 artworks celebrating children’s stories for little people, with big imaginations, to explore.
The Children’s Trail is a FREE family activity, that is always available.
The Children’s Trail is partly inspired by the books of Mary Norton, who lived in the town as a child and set The Borrowers in The Manor House, now Leighton Middle School.
Free challenge-based activity maps allow young followers of the Trail to seek out the hidden treasures and delight in the discovery of something unusual, in unnoticed places – up above their heads or at their feet – and use their own imaginations to interpret the meanings of the shadows, word and sculptures they discover.
